Challenge

To start with, I have to say that I struggled a little bit for this challenge because even though I don’t go to school I have a lot of things to do. Homework, tests and online lessons have conquered my everyday life. Most of the days I don’t even take a break from all the stuff that I have to finish. Personally, I didn’t get bored anytime through the lock down, I had always something to do. When I first heard this challenge, I got excited because it was a chance for me to skip from my heavy-duty, everyday program.

Firstly, I decided to wake up early in Sunday morning, make some constructive activities and see if I could manage to spend 4 hours doing what makes me happy. My day begun at around 7 o clock in the morning with a special breakfast with my beloved parents and brother. I have made a list of the hobbies that I wanted to do in these 4 hours and started the ultimate  experience. First thing on the list was to warm up a little bit for the next activities. I just put an exercise mat on the grass, took a big breath and started exercising my muscles. I tried to do some push ups, a plank for a few minutes and other exercises. I strongly believe that physical health goes together with the physical exercise, so once you are training your body, alongside you are training your mood and feelings! Then, of course, I made some stretches because I think that stretching is super important , very beneficial to the kingdom body and it is something that we neglect a lot of the time. Then I rested a little bit, felt the air goes through my body and allowed the May sunlight to touch my skin. I continued my challenge with my brother’s hobby, tennis. I played for about 45 minutes with him. We took out our rackets, we grab a ball and started having fun! I’m not such professional tennis player as my brother, but I did the maximum I could. The important thing is that we spent quality time, we laughed and shared our abilities together. Thirdly, because I was exhausted, I laid on the sofa and decided to read a book. I read this specific book 2 times and I started reading it again for the third time. It is a Greek book, full of fantasy, romance and magic. I think the plot is especially designed for me since I identity myself with the main character. I found this book accidentally and it became my favorite one. While I was reading it, my imagination started dancing in my mind and my feelings were moving with its rhythm. While I was drawing invisible images, I was hearing the birds twittering so softly and I was amazed how beautiful they sing. Then, I wanted to do my own hobby, which is ballet. To tell the truth, that was the moment when I expressed all my feelings. I felt free to do my own movements and relax my body and my soul too. The classical music wakes up memories on my mind, since I started doing ballet when I was 3 years old and I continue it until now. Ballet takes a big part of my childhood and represents me to the fullest! Even though ballet lessons stop because of the lock down, I feel the need sometimes to dance alone in my bedroom. Finally, the time came for a relaxing bath after all these activities. I laid in the bath , just thinking about my life, about the future, about my friends and family. I closed my eyes and the only thing I could feel was the warm water that touches my body. After this absolute relaxation I decided to take care of myself. I put a body lotion all over my whole body, a mask and a moisturizing cream on my face. I finished with my favorite perfume!

And that was the end of my experience. I have to say that I enjoy it to the fullest! It was a great challenge that makes me feel emotions that I haven’t felt before. It makes me miss my friends, because I wanted to text them, but I couldn’t because of the challenge. I believe that it could be a nice idea to escape from my everyday routine at least once a month, by doing this challenge! I am very proud that I managed to do it and I really recommend others to try it!
